Woman With Only One Year Left To Live Decides To Finally Watch “The Office”
Having recently found out she suffered from a disease that will kill her in a year, Lauren Harris decided to stop wasting time and finally watch that show everyone keeps referencing.
“When you know death is coming soon, you start realizing what really matters”, said Harris, who feels horrified at the idea of lying on her death bed with the regret of never having watched the Emmy award-winning sitcom.
“One year isn’t a lot, so there’s no time to waste anymore. When you’re in my shoes, you start realizing that all your personal ambitions are meaningless. Do you really think that on the day you die, it will have made a difference whether you traveled to India or built a school in Nigeria or whatever? Of course not. But I’ll tell you what will matter: Understanding all those damn memes.”
Sources reported that after taking her decision to watch The Office, Lauren Harris became anxious as she learned she should also “absolutely check out” Parks & Recreation, The Good Place, and for some reason, Baywatch.
