KABUL, AFGHANISTAN — An eight-year-old child that was killed during a terrorist attack by the Taliban last year was lucky enough to have a picture of him taken shortly before the bombing, which will from now on immortalize him after having been uploaded to Shutterstock for the generous price of $1.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better way to honor our son, who was himself passionate about photography and would have loved to know that he was going to live on forever by being used by travel bloggers around the world”, said Nasrin, the mother of the deceased child, who was gifted a one-year subscription to the stock photography platform, including access to countless videos for any kind of project.

“Today, we honor my son with a 50% discount for a yearly subscription, affiliate link in my Instagram bio.”

At press time, it was reported that the picture had been removed from Shutterstock for violating their terms and conditions.
